Our Scholarship Program

Since the Trans-Miss Scholarship Fund granted a $600 scholarship in 1953 to Colorado State University (then Colorado A&M), the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association has become a national leader in assisting young men and women pursuing careers in turf management.

More than $90,000 in grants are provided to young men and women at 21 universities across the United States.

Funds for the scholarships come from tournament proceeds, member club dues and contributions by individuals and corporations, as well as interest from the association’s Endowment Fund.
